Disability Pride Month is a reminder that our stories matter.

As someone who has lived with a disability my entire life, I know firsthand the importance of being seen, heard, and valued for who we are.

Disability is not a limitation. It is a part of my journey that has shaped my perspective, strengthened my voice, and given me the opportunity to connect with incredible people who continue to challenge expectations and create change.

This month, I celebrate the many ways people with disabilities contribute to the world as leaders, innovators, artists, advocates, entrepreneurs, friends, family members, and community members.

Disability Pride is about recognizing our accomplishments, honoring our experiences, and creating a future where everyone has the opportunity to participate fully.

True inclusion happens when we move beyond simply welcoming people into spaces and start building spaces with everyone in mind.

  • It looks like listening to disability voices.

  • It looks like creating accessible opportunities.

  • It looks like challenging assumptions.

  • It looks like celebrating people for their talents, dreams, and contributions.

I believe every person has a story worth sharing and gifts worth celebrating. When we embrace disability as a valuable part of human diversity, we create communities where everyone can belong.

This Disability Pride Month, I invite you to celebrate differences, learn from each other, and help create a world where people with disabilities are not just included, but recognized as leaders shaping the future.
